I think I'm going to Disney in December with my Hindu friend and her daughter. She is 11 and has never been to Disney. I'm sure we will get some stares, but I don't care. Love is love. Now some radicalized lunatic fringe? That is a concern.
You'll get stares? Why would you get stares? Florida is one of the most diverse states in the country and Orlando is one of the most diverse cities in the country. I see more minorities than anyone else. There is a giant mosque a mile or so from Disney property as well as a Hindu Temple. You might be surprised the majority of Cubans voted for Trump in Miami. The idea the left paints that only White Christians are Republicans has to be one of the biggest manufactured lies in this country. That is the stupidity of the travel advisory from the NAACP.

To me, the only legitimate authority that issues travel warnings is the Department of State, Bureau of Consular Affairs. Then I figured out this whole thing was at best a joke.

So, are you going to forfeit having access to Medicare and Social Security then?

How about help from FEMA when the next hurricane hits?

How about the fire department when a fire breaks out?

How about class-action lawsuits when the next condo collapses?

Those are all elements of "socialism" as the word is being pejoratively used here.

That's not the socialism they're talking about. Scott's socialism is any nebulous, liberal-appearing policy that they don't personally benefit from. Huge forgiven PPP loans for business owners, good. Free school lunches, bad. It's another part of the ever-evolving dog whistle which at this point is more harmonious than a Polynesian choir.

Just because I have; a bumper, a tire, a gas cap, & a radiator, doesn't mean I have a car.

We were in a restaurant and I was thumb wrestling and laughing with the 11 year old. Oh yeah, there was stares.

I'm confused. You're an old white woman, your friends are 25 years older than you and they have an 11 year old daughter. Is that correct?

Gee hm. I read all the words, used my critical thinking skills, and came up with this:

The poster is an "old white woman." She was holding hands with her older friends' 11-year-old great-granddaughter, and those friends were with her as well.

I gave it more thought, and came up with this:

The Hindu couple adopted the white woman when she was a baby. The white woman married a Hindu man when she grew up, had Hindu kids of her own, and the Hindu child is the white woman's grand-daughter (and the Hindu couple's great-granddaughter).

The second one is a bit far-fetched but still makes sense in the context.

Haha ok. The confusion started when the poster said in a previous post that she was going to Disney with her friend and her friend's 11 year old daughter and I'm thinking "wait a minute, the friend is 25 years older than a self-proclaimed old woman".

Either way, your version has a nice Hallmark movie quality so I'm going to go with that.
