You do have the right to vote or not but I am curious, have you found any candidates that you could support in say the last 8 elections? No one denies politics is easy to understand and money plays too big a part but where will candidates come from or be encouraged to take on the task if the public simply chooses not to bother?

I do find the public in general (not the big dollar guys and power machines) but the average guy feels disenfranchised and that is too bad.

At my designated spot, 400 is the qualified number assigned to vote there.
I went about 11 and was told that 200+ had already done their duty.
Not bad.

That's great news! Hopefully the rest of them get out there by the end of the day. It's a good start, especially for a local election year.

Voted at 11 at Cutler bay and it was easy peasy with no lines. Much better then the old location.

I showed up at my local voting place. Pretty quiet at 10 a.m. No line.

The deed has been done.

I just went to my new precinct over lunch. Waited about 30 mins...not bad. But having moved into a much younger area, I must say there were some very attractive voters in my area, makes the wait a lot easier.

Anyone else? 10 minutes left! (Possibly 2 hours in Broward - depending on what a court says due to problems!)

I exercised my freedom this morning at 7:30am. It was a brisk and beautiful morning. No line. Honestly I'm glad to not have to hear anymore negative campaign ads on TV.
