no, the republican politics were ok for a while, sorta made some sense, then the tea made it dark and very ugly -and he got out, go back and look at the details. He is not the only one who left the repub party either. I rather go for some one who can say NO! this is wrong, and take the risk. anyhow all we have to keep our eyes on- is KANSAS

That's what most Republicans do blast program that help people, and then use the money they cut for Corporate Welfare. The Republicans only want to make the rich richer and the poor poorer. One day we will wake up and realize that poor, working and middle class, and rich people (who the megarich laugh at) outnumber the billionaires a million to one.

I just came across this article while looking for something else. It is an in-depth explanation about the whole Scott Medicare thing that was published before the last election. It is long but it fully explains what really happened and it will make you realize that the campaign ads are a complete misrepresentation of the facts and the truth. Unfortunately, way too many people watch a campaign ad, think they know the story, and vote based on party manipulation. That makes me sick and I know it happens by both sides. Anyway, if you are patient, will read the articles completely, I think you will come away from them with a different perspective. I did. In fact, I was so impressed that this was the only place where I had seen this info, I commented at the bottom of the article back in 2010...LOL.

If you don't read it, at least read the links below. Not a substitute for reading it all but still worth seeing.

And remember that in many parts of Florida where HCA facilities dominate, Rick Scott made your health insurance policies go up significantly. We pay probably $200 more per month because of a local HCA monopoly- highest hospital costs in the Southeast.

Rick Scott made his millions on the backs of Florida families.

^^^i take it you didn't read anything. Scott hasn't been part of HCA for something like 17 years so this is one of those statements that means nothing but, just curious, your source for your claim?

Thanks for posting this article, interesting read. You have to know there's more to the story, and to the man, than the endless, mindless chants about Rick Scott's "Medicare fraud, and you can't trust him" on the part of Democrat candidates and their supporters.

Soem of us have hate-hate relationships with Columbia-HCA that go back longer than that. And are willing to admit to being able to carry a grudge for 20 years or more.

Wouldn't you have to say that it's the same for the "mindless " chants from the other side which appear even more frequently? Once the mud starts to fly, no one stays clean...
