Men & women can answer this. Do most of you guys literally wear yours 24/7, so in the shower, sleeping overnight, when at home in general, etc.?

I never wear mine at home...just whenever I go out & if it's to a place where I don't want to risk it getting messed up or falling off my finger (because nowadays it's loose & needs resizing), then I won't wear it even then. Like until it's resized, I'd never wear it to an amusement park & even then, I still might not.

My husband does the same...just when he goes out, not around the house.

We love our rings. My husband was never the jewelry-wearing type to begin w/ & although I like jewelry, I never in my life wore any when I'm just at home.

I wear my wedding band all the time, never take it off. I CAN get it off, but I have to force it over my knuckle so I'm not worried that it will fall off and it doesn't bother me at all; I hardly notice it.

I only wear my engagement ring when I'm getting dressed up. Since it has gemstones, it gets in the way and also tends to spin around my finger, but the wedding band doesn't.

My husband is a mechanic, so he can't wear a ring at work. He used to wear it when off work, but take it off and put it somewhere safe while at the shop. Then, it disappeared. This was...25+ years ago and we haven't replaced it.

I never take mine off unless I'm gardening or doing something I think I might lose it. Even then, the part that is fused together is the engagement ring and the wrap. I have another plain band that matches the width of the wrap that I wear closest to my heart and it has never left my hand except when in surgery.

My husband's job won't allow him to wear jewelry so he wears it on a chain I bought him for his wedding gift for that reason.

Both my wife and I have worn them day and night for 49.5 years, except when having surgery or an MT. Taking mine off requires liquid dish soap.

I wear my wedding ring 24-7-365
I never take it off, unless for medical tests if necessary.
'

but I really would rather not be married, if that can make any sense at all, which it doesnt.

Custom made Platinum - I never wore mine, SO mangled it within a week. So far I have not gotten an engagement ring. Would not wear it. For some these symbols are important and they enjoy displaying it. Please do so!

I've always thought you're supposed to wear it all the time. I think more of my wife and marriage than to just wear it part time.

Generally and habitually, the minute I walk in the door, I take all my hand jewelry off.
Where I come from, and lots of people I know here, are doing the same. Men and women.
Most of them also change street/work clothes to home clothes.

I guess this is more common than you think.

I haven't worn a wedding band in 15 years. I'm just not a ring person.
