But not according to companies such as L L Bean, which will attach such buttons for men: and, for an affordable fee. You see, they just will not do that for women

I don't mean to sound harsh, but... you can't sew on a few buttons? I learned that in home economics in junior high. Well, I didn't learn how to do it there, but I did learn about needle sizes, thread weights, finished appearance (front and back) and a whole lot more. Still, anyone of reasonable intelligence should be able to thread a needle and sew on a few buttons.
^ Well, you do come across unduly harsh here, for when I tried to find out why companies such as L L Bean or Dickies (which makes a remarkably fine denim skirt), wouldn't attach suspender-buttons to women's pants or skirts, they implied that waistbands on women's garments couldn't bear them because they are made less robust than men's ones, which could

And I have tried to get them to
I prefer to wear my pants with braces, which button-on to the inside of the waistband, for clip-on ones don't seem quite right. And I'm so keen on using them that I'd like to get some for my wife now. But though suspenders are available in places such as The Suspender Store, and in a variety of materials, designs, lengths and widths, some of which would be feminine, it seems that the waistband in women's skirts or trousers tends not to be made sturdy enough for for the three pairs of requisite buttons to be sewn-on through them. And so I've come to see if anyone here has a solution to this. For I do know that they can look sweet on girls
Noooooooooo!
First of all, breasts and suspenders do NOT go together. ICCCK.
Secondly, most women don't NEED suspenders. They have a defined waist that is generally significantly smaller than their hips -- the pants don't fall down.
Thirdly, the vast majority of current fashion doesn't go with suspenders. Sweaters, blouses, etc -- the line of the outfit would be completely ruined with suspenders.
I'm a suspenders man myself, and my first wife agreed to a prenup which stipulated that she wear suspenders at least three days out of the week. Turns out she was a belt gal at heart and a judge in Siskiyou county declared the prenup invalid due to a technicality. Sadly after the divorce the only suspenders I wore from then on looked a lot like this:
