He could do it but first he would throw out all my bras, panties, jeans, and pullover tops. I would be living in a button down or zippered shirt all week......if I even got to wear that
Absolutely! DH has great taste and a good eye for how things look. Just last week he told me to get rid of a couple of pairs of jeans because they were "too baggy". And if we're shopping together and he sees something he'll often say, "That would look good on you."
Come to think of it, he's bought a lot of my clothes. And they're the ones I like the best. He picked out a purse for me last week when we walked through a store on our way to lunch.

Reason: Upon further reflection...
I've picked out clothes/shoes for the women I date before. You have to understand what brands & styles they like and go with those. I stick with the stylish brands like TR, R&R, Guess, AX, Bebe etc, because it's hard to go wrong there. But I don't try to pick out handbags. I don't think guys can do this. If I'm in a store like Chanel or Burbery and see dozens of different bags, I would have no idea which one goes with the outfits she has. We guys would have to throw darts to pick them. Women are ultra-fussy about bags
Yup, my DH has excellent taste. He buys me clothes all the time. Too bad for him I am usually found in shorts and a tee. He does tend to like body hugging attire and high heels, so every so often I dress to make him happy.
He used to walk into a store like Bloomingdales and buy everything on a mannequin including the shoes. I never returned anything, which is why I currently have lots of very short skirts in my closet. I tell him those are beach outfits, and if he wants to see me in them he better make reservations. I'm not wearing that stuff grocery shopping.
My ex had very conservative taste and would have dressed me like a nun; however he would GIVE his opinion when asked to do so, or would occasionally go shopping with me. Bottom line, I like shopping for myself. Gotta say Antlered and Lao, you've shown us your taste in past posts and it is awesome!!
