That is what nazi Germany tried to do look what happen to them.

It's only a matter of time before the US dollars collapses and gets replaced with a new currency with a different name.

Then the cycle starts anew...

The only potential candidate is the Yuan which has barely moved in a generation. But if it does continue to rise, there should be plenty of room for the USD in a larger future global economy.
I think USD will be replaced by not just by some other reserve currency but probably by some Central Bank digital currency (CDBC) as well.

The Spanish real and Roman currencies are no longer in use for historical references.

We have the IMF already. I don't know why the majors would support anything else, as they all want their own currency.

No idea. Possibly by CDBCs or by IMF SDRs.

True, but after the dust settled the German Mark was a strong and stable currency in the world until they converted over to the Euro. The demise of the Dollar doesn't mean the demise of America or the world.

If an asteroid takes out the USA, both of those currencies would become more dominant in the world.

Germany had foreign debt owed in those currencies. U.s debt is owed in USD.

Also Germany lost ww1 and had extraordinary negative provisions in the treaty of Versailles to punish them. Which of course, wasn’t the best idea in hindsight.
