It's about 1.5" x .75" x .5" and has the consistency and feel of soft carpet.

Apparently not painful as my dog doesn't react or wince when I touch it.

I noticed it a few days ago but it might have been there a while. I don't get much opportunity to look there.

Yeah, yeah, I know, take him to a vet. I'm lining that up this week.

Meantime, has anybody seen anything like this?

Thanks.

I certainly have not "seen it all," but I've also certainly never seen THAT! I just spent an un-enjoyable 10 minutes looking through various dog skin-problem photos and nothing seems to match up. It might be warts, as suggested, but that doesn't look like any of the photos. That would be a LOT of warts all in one place. But maybe that's exactly what it is. I'm glad you're lining up a vet visit. Good luck!

I didn't think wart, but now I looked at all the photos. Ugh.

One or two kinda sorta looked a little like it.

I'll let you know.

Thanks.

Yup, vet time. Either way, you don't want that on your dog.

It doesn't look like skin tags to me, but of that's what it is, skin tags can be a symptom that the endocrine system is out of whack, so that needs to be checked, and we are back to "see the vet"
