This is how I see it as well. You sell on CL and you should expect anyone to show up. OP did a very poor job of finding a suitable home for this puppy.
As I read the OP, and being a dog lover, I was glad she errored on the side of caution. But I do believe she was a bit wrong. And by the way the buyer didn't "bully" her he was rightfully upset, vented his frustration as I would have, and left.
It's bad to advertise a price of $150 for a set of speakers and then tell the buyer who has made the trip that the cost is higher. It's a lot worse when the buyer has his heart set on coming home with a new member of the family. And why? Because he dressed in black and had piercings? Because he smelled of weed? That's a bit judgmental IMO, there are millions of weed smokers who have ink and piercings who are excellent pet owners.
