That's Lake Dillon actually, looking towards Silverthorne and the Gore Range (Buffalo Mountain and Red Peak to be precise).

Here, so all my images are crystal clear and cool looking. Here's our first hummingbird of the season, which showed up late yesterday evening, but took this picture of him this morning about 6:30am before the sun came up. :|

We were on Hwy 40 north of I-70. If this is Lake Dillon, it was taken before our camping trip. I've got it saved as Grandby. You could be right, but I thought this was taken on our 4th of July trip in 06. The original was stored on my laptop at home. If the date was prior to that, then thanks for the correction.

Here's a lake (pond) that I know a little better; San Isabel.

I'm 99.9% sure it's Lake Dillon. I live in Silverthorne and see that view everyday.

I checked the picture and it is telling me:

Olympus X100, D540Z, C310Z
2005:06:19 12:46:57

So, if your cameras data and time were set correctly, now you know the day and time it was taken.

Wow, just wow...I can't believe what good photographers we have on here. I still haven't gotten out and given today's weather, it's not going to happen. I only have this offering and it's inside my house from yesterday afternoon. It's not Colorado specific but I do live in Colorado and it's part of my life in Colorado.

I call part of the shots I took: "House plants need love too" as I needed to spray my plants to get some moisture on their leaves and the afternoon sun hit it just so I had to pull out the camara. As you know, living in CO means if you have house plants you have to take care of them, extra care. I am pretty proud of the two I am going to show you as it was just with my Olympus point and shoot - gorgeous afternoon yesterday and now it's snowing sideways...gotta love the weather here:

Okay to keep my last post semi-legal (grin I started this thread), here's the snow coming down on this April day taken at 4:17 pm, just now!

Yeah, I am that quick. < grin >
