Hehehe.

Actually, there are two female hostesses, not Asian, but very cute. And, the person we used to call the "maitre d" is Ten Li Moy, the founder's number two son, who, if you looked in the encyclopedia under beta male, you would find his picture. One of the nicest guys you will ever meet.

Now, I know that those bruisers down at Scotties are a lot of fun, but I find the CG is a different and a lot more sociable dining experience.

I'll throw in a plug for Barresi's in Deer Park -- still can't understand how this great restaurant is in my little, nondescript community . . . but for Italian, it's fantastic.

I think that that is the way that they want it. Actually, I think Barresis was better years ago than today. But, it is still good

I like Rusty's better. It's cheaper, and I'm usually the youngest one in the place. Does a girl's ego good.

Default Morton's Steak House

The most memorable meal I had was at Morton's. The meal was excellent but the service was the best I have ever had.
If you are looking for something out of the ordinary, try Cincinnati Dinner Train. The menu is not exceptional but the experience is unique. Now that the leaves are changing color, I bet it is more spectacular.

We've been here less than a year. So far our best Cincinnati dining experience has been The Summit (The Summit - Cincinnati.Com), official restaurant of the Midwest Culinary Institute at Cincinnati State. Great menu, enthusiastic staff/students, and reasonable prices.

Just found my new favorite - Alfio's Buon Cibo on Hyde Park Square. Tried it last week and it was fabulous! My husband asked about the sauce for the ribs due to dietary restrictions. Alfio, the chef/owner, came out to our table, chatted with Mike, and created a special sauce just for him - impressive - and Mike loved it. I had the grilled Romaine salad and short rib ravioli with mushroom sauce - all pasta made in-house - sublime! The other owner, Scott Lambert, checked in with us several times. Go - try it - enjoy!

Hyde Park Square? Don't know whether I can afford to mortgage my house to eat there. Just joking. But I don't believe I have ever been at a Hyde Park Square establishment which was not plenty expensive.
