As measured in Consumer Reports owner satisfaction survey asking whether you would buy the same brand again. Interesting that the quirkiest electric brand and the quirkiest car brand take the top.

Top 5:
Rivian
Mini
BMW
Porsche
Tesla

Bottom 5:
Audi
Jeep
Nissan
Volkswagen
Infiniti

I'm one of the least loyal people, and so are just about everyone I know these days. Currently we have a Ford F150, a Subaru Outback, and a 1973 Chevy Nova. We have had Jeeps, Dodge, Toyota, other Fords and Chevy. We go with what suits our needs, comfort, and appearance preference at the time, but just ICE and avoid anything that is expensive to service/repair. I guess all of ours, past and present are somewhere in the middle. I would buy almost any of them again, just wouldn't buy anything by Stellantis, after horrible treatment by all of their Dodge/Jeep service departments within an hour of here.

Bought 3 Accords but the last one '03 6 cylinder, had more problems than the others combined. I loved the '83 as it was small, could turn on a dime and had the 5 speed so I could zip around . Not that great for hauling more than 2 people

I am driving a 2015 Infiniti Q50, after driving an Infiniti G35 coupe for 10 years. I will likely not bu another one. The current Q50 is very similar to my car and the coupe is no more. All the other Infinitis are SUVs, and I am not interested in an SUV. They are good cars, but the company has lost its imagination.

Remember when q45 came out? Design was so elegant. 4 cam v8, 278 hp. Q45a had hydraulic suspension, 4 wheel steering. In 1990 that was some serious stuff, compared to archaic w126 Mercedes and BMW 735i. It was sadly overshadowed by Lexus Ls400 which was perfect in every way possible other than design.
Sad that Q had to die.

I use to be a loyal Chevy fan. Problems with my last Chevy as well as bad service at my local dealer turned me off of the brand. I have had problems with my current vehicle but good service with my dealer has made dealing with these issues bearable. The service at the dealer can be a make or break for some customers. I wouldn’t mind replacing my car with a Toyota or Honda. Our newest Toyota dealer is one I would never set foot in because of the owner. Locally some Toyota fans have gone further to avoid that particular dealer. However, that other dealer has recently been bought out by another company so no telling yet how well is the service.

Only time I’m going to the dealer after purchase is for a warranty repair so that’s less of a concern for me.

If you buy new with factory warranty any repair done outside of dealer network could result in void of warranty. Those times I brought my car to the dealer for repairs it was either in warranty item or a dealer only item (GM anti-theft key sensor).

Same here. I don't think I've every owned 2 models from the same manufacturer:

1989 Mazda 626
1997 Nissan Maxima
2001 VW Golf TDI
2006 GM Silverado 2500HD Duramax
2007 Lexus Rx400h
2013 Fiat 500e
2013 Tesla Model S85 (car is great, but I hope my first Tesla is my last Tesla)

My wife and I also have no loyalty to banks, financial institutions, airlines, or hotels...although we have been using her Amex platinum card for Fine Hotels and Resorts deals and the Delta airport lounges...but we typically go with whatever is the most practical and reasonably nice. No loyalty to car brands though...I mean, why? As a consumer, I want to flex my power to choose and to encourage the manufacturer to make the best product for a consumer like me to want to buy.

Although the downside is having to accumulate a variety of tools and software to work on the various cars.
