Depending on trim, that's basically MSRP (IIRC, depending on the year, RS1 cost around $36-38K and RS2 somewhere in the $41-44K range). And a 2018 commands an extra $5K premium (at least) because it only came in one, fully loaded RS2 package (and with some goodies, like the aforementioned LSD, that had never before been available).
Case in point. So stupid of me. Should have bought one while they were still making them and I was still working for Ford.

Definitely want something newer. Buddy of mine has been lazily trying to sell his mint S2000, so if I were to go that route, that would be an easy one to buy, but the Miata is already uncomfortable enough for me - a similar car that is 20 y.o., to boot, is definitely not going to work.
