Maybe you need to look into it!

I’ve gained about 10 pounds since last March. I’m not mad, just gotta get my steps up and kill the running game Im in. I did a speed workout today and I’m planning on adding it to my schedule since my group does it once a week. I’ll complain every second of it, but if I can get my full marathon time under 5 hours it’ll be worth it. Not that I’m registered for a full anytime soon.

Problem with me and running is if I do it for too long it flares my bronchitis for some reason and when I run out of breath my lungs feel like they’re filled flem that I can’t cough out and it takes about 5 - 10 minutes of wheezing to catch my breathe. Usually have to bring albuterol with me.

I’m probably not going to sink a ton into the Prius, I want to trade it either for a Camry Hybrid or a Niro but haven’t decided which yet.

Today I took the toll road to work and she gave me a giddy 35 MPG. On the return trip she did 45 MPG but I took Parmer back.

Yea it’s disappointing. It seems when it’s cold outside I am scoring much lower MPG’s. It does its best when it’s between 60 and 80* outside. I did a whopping 39 MPG on the way to work today and 35 on the way home but I took the highway. It does terrible on the highway.

I had a Ford Focus in the past that made similar MPG and wasn’t a hybrid.

I was thinking for giggles sakes throwing on a Water4Gas (Hydrogen Kit) just to see if that stuff really works. If you guys see a giant mushroom cloud over the horizon Northwest of Austin and half of Leander gets turned into a crater in the ground... totally me testing my Hydrogen Prius...

My 1987 Toyota Tercel 4-speed manual got 47 mpg. Of course it was a tin can with wheels, but very efficient .

I had a 1985 Mercedes D which was a Diesel Engine. It had a broken fuel gauge and it wasn’t perfect on fuel mileage but it sure was bullet proof. Even ran it without oil and it just wouldn’t die. It finally gave in after about 600k miles when the transmission literally fell out the bottom of the car while I was getting off the freeway.

The only issues were pretty much having to guess how much fuel it had and not knowing everywhere you could purchase Diesel from.

After driving about 20 miles today my Niro was at 47.3 mpg. I wasn’t trying hard ir anything. I’ll have to see where I’m at when I drive more.

I can manage 45 - 47 when it’s warm outside and I get opportunity to use the battery more than the engine. Unfortunately that doesn’t happen all that much on the highway. On Parmer if I can coast 55 - 60 I can probably get 45.

My 55 run was almost all battery and doing no more than 40 MPH

Just got my tire installed on my SS so I’m doing what .. 23 on the street and 28 on the highway :P

My brother has a 1983 300D with less than 90,000 miles on it. It is unrestored, yet looks almost brand new.

They’re basically tanks on four wheels. Probably among the strongest cars the Germans ever built.
