In a nutshell? A desire to destroy the voting rights act and disenfranchise a very specific population. Frankly the desire is to make it illegal for black people to have political representation in Alabama and to disenfranchise them permanently. Shameful and embarrassing...again

Yep. Just crazy how willing people are to accept this.

At the end of the day, Alabama is going to have two predominately black voting districts. Why not just go ahead and accept that fact, do the redistricting according to law, and get it over with.

Democrats attempt to emotionalize. Why do all the "look at me I'm woke writers" at AL.com constantly see the need to destroy our state by seeding division?

Republicans needing to suppress black voters so they can fortify an already dominate majority. Why do they need to try to rig elections through gerrymandering?

Where is your proof? Are you just going off headlines and have not done any work to talk on this accusation? Why is the blackbelt so poor? Republicans don't control that region and I personally think the blackbelt would be much better off if republicans were their representatives.

It is quite obvious you have no idea what this is about or you believe only non-poor people deserve equal representation. Either way, there's nothing I can do for you.
