Fans in walk in cooler have dust buildup. Must keep clean to prevent buildup of bacteria and spread of disease.
- Light bulbs, protective shielding
Retail area does not have light covers or shatter resistant bulbs. Must have shatter resistant bulbs or adequate covers in all areas of food prep/service to prevent contamination.
- Material characteristics of non-food contact surfaces
1) Observed cardboard being reused. Must not reuse cardboard because it is not a smooth, easily cleanable, and non absorbent surface. Must replace with material that meets all above criteria. 2) Mop handle was broken and held together by duct tape. May not use tape to repair handle. Must replace handle to prevent buildup of bacteria and spread of disease.
- Outer openings are protected
Front double doors to store have daylight showing through the middle. Must replace weather strip or install other adequate means to prevent entry of pests.
- Handwashing signage
Retail area handsink did not have a handwashing sign posted. Must post a sign informing employees when to wash hands at all handsinks used by food service employees.
