So far in my town

Centre Wellington
Oct: trace
Nov: 1.5cm

Might get around 10cm before end of month? Nov 27-29 will be below freezing, so just a question of how much precipitation we get. Then warm up on Nov 30 with some rain.

We'll see if we get more tonight - it looks like it might be more of a mixed precipitation event, snow-wet snow-freezing rain-rain. I think I can hope for a decent chunk to be snow though.

A snowy winter for several locations last year. And look at Marquette with 265!

I couldn’t find final number for Valdez but it was doing quite well through January last year.
This year I think not real impressive so far, despite good showing from Anchorage.

Sunday Funday. Top 30 Snowiest Climate Site Locations in the U.S.

Anchorage still leading the pack.

Caribou & Syracuse representing the East.

Marquette on the list but almost 2 feet below normal.

You need over 5.5" to make the list now.
(Erie has 5.4", Buffalo only 2.3")

The list above only represents the NWS climo sites that report snowfall, not every city. There's a city in NY that got over 30" of snow so far.

And You can see how Buffalo missed that Lake Effect event. CLOSE!

Not sure why Erie didn't get more. Maybe too close to the Lake?

Got about 3cm last night and 0.5cm a few days earlier.

Oct: trace
Nov: 12cm (5")
Dec: 7.5cm (3")

Normal for December is 13" but I'm not sure we'll get that much unless we get some big storms end of month. Might get a little bit on Sunday night but so far nothing to tip the scales significantly in the 7 day forecast.
