Usually I'd say Chinese, but there are a lot less Chinese tourists about these days so I don't think someone in Thailand right now is going to make a thread about them. My second vote for islands of Thailand would be Russian, but there are even less Russian tourists for obvious reasons.

As an American sitting next to another nice American family, we are in full agreement that we ugly Americans have passed the baton over to people of this nation.
I don't see the point of promoting hatred toward others this way. In fact, your post basically reclaimed the title, because the above is an Ugly American thing to say.
Last time I was in Thailand several years ago, Russians certainly made their presence, & opinions, loud & clear to anybody. They look like Westerners but certainly aren't. My 3rd hand impression was that since then their economy has slowed down enough to limit their tourism, but I don't know. What I found shocking then at one rowdy coastal resort city, there were actually Russian prostitutes working in clubs aimed at Russian tourists.
I mean how clear could it be that a Russian mafia was trafficing young girls in virtual overseas slavery if they have to compete with the long established Thai domestic industry?
