Yes, that hypocrisy certainly jumped out at me.

So the Jew hate has been hidden? And now the indoctrinated students feel free to just let that anti semitic freak flag fly?

The latest example:

It’s possible that some has been hidden and now they feel free to be open about it. I think some of it though is that universities have been more tolerant of the viewpoints they allow on campuses even to the point of letting anti-semites in larger numbers among their ranks. It’s kind of the whole thing of unlimited acceptance leads to non-acceptance.

OMG. Get a grip. Really.

And generally they are simply repeating whatever some conservative website told them to think. Doubtful too many of these folks have stepped foot on a college campus recently.

*yawn* This post demonstrates an ignorance of Democrats, liberals (not necessarily one and the same), and Nazi Germany. Try again.

Yep, but par for the course around here.

I don't think they are "nazi" indoctrination camps, but they do seem to be creating a lot of closed minded people that do not care to listen to other perspectives or opinions, and feel they are marginalized or a victim in some form or another.

This hasn't just happened overnight. This article is from 2018. Personally, I think the turning point was late summer in 2014.

"When the term “Western civilization” is equated with racism, cultural superiority and pervasive oppression, and students in my political philosophy class refuse to study the works of John Stuart Mill or John Locke (or any other white thinker) because they consider them white supremacists, there is no lower level of educational hell. The manifest destiny of the humanities and social science professoriat is to have politicized knowledge supersede truth, objectivity, facts and genuine learning.

Cultural Marxism, defined as anti-capitalist cultural critique, is the educational trope that mediates all forms of learning in today’s universities — and it is simply a guise under which to politically indoctrinate students into becoming socialists who will do anything to prohibit freedom of speech on college campuses. We are witnessing a generation that will not tolerate other perspectives, students who will not hear opposing ideologies."

There are many other factors that are contributing to this, much of it perception or misinformation, parroted by social media. And many other real factors. Just look at the high rates of student loan debt, the cost of pretty much everything being high, how hard it is to start out as a young person, home prices, etc.

I follow a YT channel , SOC 119, which is Dr. Sam Richards from Penn State. and I can see from some of his lectures, he will bring up a controversial topic, ask the students what they think, and many are already biased and have formed their opinions, and he tries to educate them on both sides. So, if one is already set on a path, from being told something their whole life, seeing the same misinformation on social media, struggling to get through their day to day lives, it will be hard to change that bias. And now , again with social media, it's pretty easy to find a group that will affirm pretty much anyone's thinking. And for some there is just the plain, FOMO, they just want to fit in. I saw some protest interviews the other day on YT, the interviewer was asking these young students/protesters why there were there. Many of them had no real reason to be there, and just said I wanted to be a part of this.

Far left loon is an apt description of what a large percentage of college students are today.

Fortunately, most of them grow out of it by the time they get a real job and take on actual responsibilities in life.

Ultimately-this. Actually a little longer. We have had a Marxist movement in this country for over a century. The goal of Marxism is the destruction of a civilization based on a voluntary economic system, the elimination of a system where merit, effort and intelligence are rewarded. The elimination of free will and the opportunity to advance. An elimination of the guarantee of individual rights, especially property rights. The goal of Marxism is a totalitarian system, with an "all-powerful" government and a society of slaves. One where the government can dictate where you work, what you do and most immortality, how you are rewarded. They want to destroy what others have created, to take what they have earned. And all assume they will be part of that government system of overseers and not the slaves. The more successful the person-the more they denounce him/her and want to break and enslave them.

As I said-it's been the case for over a century, with a "communist" movement in this nation. Their tool is violence, specifically by pitting Americans against one another. The "hippie" movement and anti-war riots of the 60s were a part-funded and organized by the USSR. They referred to American Marxists as "useful idiots". They pit conservatives against liberals. Black against white. Black against Asians. Workers against employers. Trans against "normies". And everyone against Jews-because they are seen as examples of hard-working, successful people that thrive on merit. Everyone against straight white men.

Marxists were allies with the USSR because Communism, as implemented by the Soviets, was their goal. If you remember, they openly embraced the USSR-Bernie Sanders vacationed (IIRC took his honeymoon) in Moscow during the Cold War and extolled it's virtues. But a funny thing happened. Communism failed in the USSR as it had across the world. The USSR fell apart. Russia turned it's back on Communism-and Marxists have despised them ever since.

So-American Marxists needed a new ally. Marxism is the cult of the incompetent-they never build, never create, never accomplish anything. They exist to take and destroy. Another "movement" that is similar is Islamism. It is a cult of death, of destruction, of conquest. Islamists never create, they steal what others have created. Israel is the obvious example. Islamists lived on the land and barely survived. They were "subsistence farmers", putting in the least effort possible to get by. Jews bought land in the region, planted forests, drained swamps, reclaimed deserts. They turned a desolate craphole into a green oasis. They built cities from nothing, turning the region into an economic powerhouse. Islamists saw the prosperity and moved there for jobs-and had the highest standard of living of any Islamists in the ME.

The Jews of Israel demonstrated so eloquently the difference between a culture of peace, merit, effort and prosperity and one of sloth, incompetence and death. For that-the Islamists would forever hate them and try, time after time, to destroy the state of Israel and complete the genocide of Jews started by Hitler. They wanted to take what Jews had created-and destroy the very source of that prosperity-as Marxists have done for decades.

THIS is the mentality that infests our educational industry. It has attracted those that lack the skills and abilities and drive to excel in private industry. Those that embrace "taking" rather than creating and building. Those that denounce Capitalism and individual rights and support totalitarianism. WE LET IT HAPPEN, starting in the 1960s, if not sooner. Does anyone believe the freak shows of today's teachers (in some schools anyway) are in any way representative of those of earlier generations? We see (or should anyway) what a mistake it has been to allow totalitarian Marxists to take control of education and our media.

Exactly who do you think our government is, madam?
It is us, we, the people.
We elect representatives to Congress to, well, represent us and our interests. By and large, they have failed, hence, the place in history in which we find ourselves today.
There is no excuse for what is occurring on college campuses, and if you are sympathetic to one iota of these "protests", and I say this with all due respect to anyone who supports this anarchy, perhaps you, indeed, are a part of the problem.
These "protests" are anything but. They are a structured attempt to overthrow our government (what's left of it) and establish Marxism.
