I think a few heads were turned toward Seattle.
That was their first regulation loss at home. Technically, they had lost 2 or 3 games in OT at home so IMO that counts as losses. I don't get why the experts, fans, etc. don't consider OT or SO losses as actual losses. I mean, they are! You don't get two points or a W in the win column for them. If you don't win, it's a loss. There are no more ties in the NHL.

You get a point for an OT loss. It’s not exactly the same as a loss.

BTW, I don’t really disagree with you.

Bo Horvat of the Canucks has been traded to Isles for a 1st round pick, Beauvillier, and Raty.

Frankly, dont think its a good trade. Canucks need more defense or better goalie. Isles need more scoring so this is good for them, but Canucks got screwed. Canucks are second highest GAA at 3.92

Horvat is a free agent and this may just be a rental situation for the Isles

Canucks had no choice. They couldn't afford to keep him due to their whole JT Miller fiasco.

You guys are right about Horvat. And I doubt the Isles make the playoffs, so worst case it is a mid-teens pick.

Raty is an interesting prospect, he was a projected top 3 pick at one time. He's not going to a great situation but Canucks fans I think have someone to look forward to seeing develop.
