Ford Maverick XLT in beige: will see plenty of Mavericks everyday, but maybe a hand full in beige this year.
Least common car was a 02 Mazda Protégé in pearl in the highest trim level with all the features possible. Still consider this my favorite car and even back in the early 2000's I would never see them.

Currently in a white Subaru Crosstrek. In Nebraska. It's not even a novelty anymore.

I had a dark gray Civic and it was hard to find in a parking lot full of similar looking vehicles. I now have a red one and it's great for finding your car. Borrowed my wife's black SUV and the same problem, so many cars looked like hers. But no not an identical match.

On the 2015 Brochure for a red Dodge Grand Caravan. When we went to thee dealer at the end of the 2015 model year, we bought the only van they had left on the lot. It is exactly like the one on the brochure. We didn’t care about the color. I thought we were the only ones who bought that version, and maybe no one liked the color. I see many everyday, but n ever that specific color and trim. Then one day a couple of years ago, I saw one parked at a store. I parked next to it to see if my wife could tell which one was ours. She figured it out when she noticed the EZ Pass on our windshield. Otherwise, they were exactly the same.

It happens semi-frequent, BUT maybe that is because of the subconscious "you are looking for it"

Happened again just now!

A few other instances...

That one was same make/model/color/twin. Sometimes I just see same make and model... and year range or "Generation.."

I made a connection that I will probably be at a car show soon so all of this car spotting is going very well and I wonder if others enjoy the same activity.

We came really close this week. Saw a 2023 Ford Bronco Sport, different trim level in the Area 51 color which has been discontinued and our Azure Grey replaced it. But it felt odd, seeing a “twin”.

This one was weird. I drive a bright blue Toyota Corolla. 2010. A few years ago my neighbor backed into the right back of my car with his SUV and left a corner-shaped dent.

I was at the gym at the mall one day a few years ago, parked and was walking up the aisle when I saw a car just like mine, same color, with an almost identical dent but on the left back side.
