- Observed cutting board grooved/pitted and no longer cleanable. At sandwich bar by cash register.
- Critical. Observed cutting board with heavy staining at right side sandwich prep cooler.
- Ten (10) foot-candles of light at least 30 inches from floor not provided in walk-in refrigeration unit. Walk-in cooler supplied with energy-efficient twisted glass bulb which does not sufficiently light the cooler. With light on, it is very difficult to clearly see items on nearby shelf.
- Critical. Food Manager Certification not from approved provider. Posted certificate is a Sarasota County Schools certificate for a HACCP preparation couse: SERVING IT SAFE

Rachid Benkhatar has a certificate posted that states, "Certificate of Completion by Sarasota District Schools Food and Nutrition Services for successful completion of SERVING IT SAFE a course provided in preparation of HACCP requirements April 7 - May 7, 2008. Inspector left card listing Division of Hotels and Restaurant approved certified Food Manager list of phone numbers and email addresses dated 7 May 2010. Operator is not understanding that their current certificate is not from a DBPR approved provider. Repeat Violation.
