Observation: SSDC quat sanitizer is not being used according to manufacturer’s use directions. Sanitizer concentration in sanitizing sink was barely detected using sanitizer strip - very weak concentration. Employee changed sanitizer tank and put in fresh sanitizer solution - 300 ppm.
Correction: Change procedures and provide training to employees on proper use of toxic chemical following manufacturer's directions for use. Change sanitizer tank/sink more frequently to assure a range of 200-400 ppm quat. Correct By: 01-Sep-2015
- THERMOMETERS - FUNCTIONALITY - WARMEST PART OF UNIT
Observation: Thermometers in some coolers are not properly located - back of cooler.
Correction: Reposition thermometer so that it is located in the warmest part of the refrigeration unit up front and top shelf. Correct By: 01-Oct-2015
