The traffic signal at the corner of 160 and 460 (Walgreens/Gas Station) has been faulty, giving a green to the opposite direction at night, proceeded by a long green arrow when nobody is there. Who do I report this to? Is it the Town of Fort Mill or the state?
Good point, that thing has been messed up ever since they started the construction there. Not only does the west bound left turn signal come on each time it cycles (cars or not), but the duration of the green lights in each direction is a lot longer. Traffic yesterday afternoon was even worse than usual.
Even during normal slow traffic times, the back ups are showing up. SCDOT would be my guess on who to complain to.
SC DOT was very responsive when I reported that same light several months ago for not giving a left turn arrow. I got both phone calls and emails to acknowledge and follow up. Just think what they could do if they had some money to maintain our roads!
I can't remember if I used this form or another to report that light.
