People have been telling me for years to get rid of my stuff in storage because I've been overseas for about 6 years, but I just can't do it--its so much that I've amassed and loved for so many years!!

Well...first I was living in Mozambique in Africa and then for the last few years, I've been in Bolivia. I love living overseas but its time to settle down somewhere and put down some roots...i'm getting too old for flitting around the world

I agree with Sunspirit - renting shouldn't be a big issue right now. There are plenty of nice areas to buy and there are no "long commutes" regardless of where you live in town, so scoping the place out for a year is a good idea.

Hello everyone: We are finally in our new home. Moderator cut: not recommended to post home address Carpenter, WY 82054.... Thats about 14 miles S.E. of I80/Cheyenne. We Retired and moved here from Suburban Chicago, IL. Our youngest, a boy, is going to Burns High School. They call Chicago the windy city but thats because of the politcions. They warned me about the wind here but I wasn't quite sure it would be as strong as it is! I will learn to live with it. Wolfie
