By all means stay away from Cheyenne. The wind is the worst I have ever seen. You can't have anything outside that is decent because it will be torn apart by the extreme winds. The Chamber of Commerce will tell you all about the wonderful climate in Cheyenne - Don't listen to the B.S from the Chamber. If you like to replace your shingles every few year, want your landscaping torn up by the wind, and not be able to do anything outside due to the wind move the Cheyenne. The wind is only the start of a really crappy city.
