Let's cover some Wyoming Trivia. I'll ask a question and the first person that answers it correctly will get to ask the next question. We have to keep it general to keep it light. Don't ask how many stones "Two Face" put on the pile. hahaha

Don't post a question unless you won the last match and now won the right to ask the next question.

(Beware, I know Wyoming)

Here's the first one.

Wyoming. Where did the word come from?

Let's see how much I remember! I believe that an Indian tribe in Pennsylvania had called a valley there "Wyoming" because the meaning of the word was something to do with being the land of a big flat river. Then when the Wyoming Territory was discovered (and we know that it's flat in places that have rivers) it was called Wyoming as well, although I don't remember details on who called it that. Am I close? I loved Wyoming history when I was in college and still have the text, a great book!!!!

Close enough. Flat prairie was a New England tribal saying. Your next, bring it on.

The first Female Govenor was Nellie Taloe Ross who proceded her husband William B. Ross after his death. The Democratic party has an annual dinner in her honor.
