OK! It is an interesting historical tidbit, which led me learn some additional astonishing historical facts, which I hope to incorporate into a later question. For now something light....

Q: How much gold is in the State Capitol's dome in Cheyenne?

Less then 1 troy ounce. It's only 800 sq ft.

What did Dr. John Osborne wear for shoes to his inaugural ball as Wyoming Governor? What was the story behind it?

Red face Outlaw Big Nose George Becomes a Pair of Shoes

Outlaw Big Nose George Becomes a Pair of Shoes< Man this is weird!
Despite the doctor’s odd behavior in the desecration of George Parrot’s body, he soon became prominent in local politics. In 1892, the doctor was elected as the first Democratic Governor of the State of Wyoming and was said to have worn the shoes at his inaugural ball in 1893. Later Osborn would become the assistant Secretary of State under President Wilson.

You got it! Just happened across that little tidbit and thought I'd throw it in the mix.

Your turn.

Question 1/2 a town

There is a town in Wyoming that half of it is in another state.
Name the town and state.
I drove through that town on my recent trip to Wyoming.

Pine Bluff, or Henry or Lyman? The are the only ones that look close on Google maps.
