I may be moving to Cheyenne because of a new job nest spring/summer. From my initial research it appears the northern part of the city is the "best" area. What specific neighborhoods would be in my price range of $150K-200K? I'd like a 3 bedroom/2 bath newer built house. Also I'm moving from the Black Hills of South Dakota and love the outdoors. I know there are no forested areas in Cheyenne but are there nearby places to hike? I like to work out too, so are there very many gyms to work out in? Thaks for any help you can give me.

If you want to be in the Cheyenne city limits, then the "avenues" would be the place to look, where there are some houses in your price range. "newer" here would be 1960's built, but generally the houses were well constructed and are nice.

There's many places to hike in and around Cheyenne. There's park areas, the bike/walk greenway, and public open spaces which include substantial acreage such as the Veedauwoo area, or the lakes West of town. You won't lack for hiking and exploring within a very short distance from your home. While not heavily wooded, there are a fair number of trees in those areas West of town.

Gyms ... there are a couple of commercial gyms, as well as the YMCA in town.
