A couple from today:

A South Pass City cabin

Carisso Mine, South Pass City

another of the Carisso Mine, South Pass City

The Owl Creek Mountains just before the entrance to the Wind River Canyon

Boysen Reservoir and dam at the entrance to the Wind River Canyon in the Owl Creek Mtns.

A visitor in the middle of residential Thermopolis. He and two of his buddies were quite a few blocks inside town. Also saw a small herd in Cody trying to cross highway 14. Too much traffic, so they turned around and went back into town.

A few more from today.

Halfway across the Bighorn Basin on the Greybull Highway looking west toward Cody and the Absarokas.

On the 14 just before Shell and the beginning of the Bighorns.

Snowing in the Bighorns.

Looking to the left when heading toward Dayton.

The signs say "65 MPH". Yeah, right! (U.S. 14 in the Bighorns)

The requisite, daily picture of a mule deer. Near the summit of the 14 in the Bighorns.

haha thanks. I'm glad you enjoy them. I'm currently in Illinois for the holidays, and the cold has followed me here. I'm looking forward to going back soon.

If I had a larger car you'd be more than welcome. We're both in for some extreme cold tomorrow, high temp of -9f here. Looks like I'll be going back to warmer temps for once.

Awesome fr8trn!
Maybe some folks can answer my question though, how do people live in this small town, where do they work, the population according to the internet is around 440(sounds awesome to me), just can't figure out how people afford to live there and where do they work. I guess I ask that question when I see small towns like this anywhere I go, with no big city nearby.

Thank Wyatt. I was wondering about that too. I was also in Saratoga yesterday, and there were a lot of nice houses out there, some new, yet it's literally in the middle of nowhere.
