". The easiest to pray on are the people who need assistance..."

Would you pray that they don't get taken advantage of?

From the NJ Forum:

I have a less than 1 year old dinning set from smoke-free, pet-free, and adult only living space which i want to sell quickly. Its elegant looking and comfortable set for any type of family room setup.
please advice .

Hmmm...so I guess that, if I want some din in my family room, I should buy this dinning set.

If somebody wants true permanence for displaying his/her lack of spelling ability, the absolute best way to achieve this is to have those misspelled words etched onto his/her body. Why bother with blogs, when you can have these misspellings follow you for the rest of your life, on your body?

If you go to Misspelled tattoos | WTF Tattoos, there is a veritable treasure trove of photos of people proudly displaying their misspelled tattoos.

I did and saw that he/she also posted their address in the post. Sheesh! I called them out on it and said to put the ad on Craigslist.

Received a rep by someone correcting my English. How about helping me? "No one cared if I were embarrassed," is what I wrote. The correction says it should be "... if I was embarrassed."

The test of when to use the subjunctive mood is whether the event is possible or not.

If you were in a situation that actually caused you embarrassment, but no one who observed it cared, you would use was, not were.
