"Grates"
Doesn't drive me nuts but I can't wait to try to drive someone else nuts with it. It's a great word
Diverse, diversity..most over used words in the English language ....jmo
How so?
I've found that those words are often used incorrectly...but rarely have I seen or heard them being overused?
Are you opposed to diversity,poster?
Without a doubt, "ain't" ...remember growing up where the common response was " ain't ain't a word cuz ain't ain't in the dictionary" .....gosh I get fingernail on chalkboard cringes when I hear it. Cringed just to write it....ick!
The use of the word "less" in express lane signs at the grocery store. "Ten items or less" should be "ten items or fewer." The only store I've seen which has correct grammar on such signs is Menard's.

Ah, thank you. The less/fewer confusion drives me nuts, too.

The word "eclectic" is very pretentious, and I feel that it should be removed from the English language..
