The latest is, "My bad" ????? I always said "oops, I'm bad". I was chastisizing myself not trying to "own" a "bad". I just don't get this.

"Folage" in place of "foliage". Used frequently by weather reporters in the Autumn.

"Nay". I know it's often used for that cheeky, irony-laden highbrow effect, but that effect itself is overused anyway.

I hate it, it sounds trashy.

Yes, if they meant it that way then I wouldn't mind.

I HATE HATE HATE IT when rappers and people who don't care to learn English use an improper form of the verb "to be."

There's even a song where THEY USE ALL THE FORMS since they obviously didn't know which one to use!!!

"I be your girl!" ... "I is your girl!" ... "I are your girl" ... "I am your girl" are all used, and it is very annoying. Further, a classic example of how not to use this verb is in the Seattle forum: "Is Seattle are friendly to pit bulls" ............... It makes my brain hurt just knowing there's people who don't care if they sound like morons like that.

Elitist? I've never heard anyone over the age of 16 use the verb "chill."

"Beast". People use it to mean "the best". Mostly kids use it.

"Man, that burger is beast!"
