That presumably means that the antidote is specific to the allergen, & that's what confirmed the diagnosis. (But I don't know that about antidotes involving raw shellfish - the protocol wouldn't just be to administer epinephrine or some similar stimulant? - & please note, all medical procedures should be carried out by licensed physicians. You may have other rights, which vary from state to state. Objects in mirror are larger than they appear.)

Other historical reenactment and living history will fall similarly. Mouthing men, Conical period/Revolutionary War, Frontier West, WW1 and 2,. All these periods contain uneasant elements
That's a good observation. For whatever reason, dote seems to be typically used in relation to the distaff side. There's an element of excessive fondness there, & also hints @ mental processes beginning to deteriorate - compare dotage, dotard, dotty.
