From the House section:

Concrete slap vs pier and beam

Now, this is a new one on me. Judging from the solidity of the question, I first understood that they were asking about the best way to deal with inner city kids upon delivering them - you know, the slap o' life, as it were. Upon further consideration, I think they meant something else.

Maybe a nice slab o' ribs?

It may well be a colloquialism in Pittsburgh and environs, but that does not make it grammatically correct.

Who think's that ___ school district should have more school buses for the children here as far as buses and bus stops.. Because all parent's don't drive or they might have to be at work and don't have enough time to drop their children off at school on time. So there left to walk alone to school...etc

It seem like some people in ____, is scared of change and improvement...

I totally agree it be way to cold for those kids to be walking to school in the winter.. Smh

Are you serious, to cold?!

Someone has posted a gem on the Car Talk website, regarding problems with her Pontiac:

am buying acar from carhop.
It's half payed off.
I came with a 18,000 mile or eighteen months warranty.
I'very got plenty of time on my mileage.
Recently my Cadillac* converter was clogged.
So I began to think I had found out why I was have ing to add oil in between oil changes.
What can I have a macanic do.
I no I have to pay for a new Cadillac converter because it's not cover but the warranty states there responsible.
I wasn't sure I was doing it rite but it want happen I gain.

*Several early responses pointed out that the correct term is "catalytic converter", but she persists in writing "Cadillac" converter.

A comment from a reader of a "Washington Post" article reporting that Trump says Obama is organizing protests against his (Trump's) presidency:

"Only the media and radicals are mad and its because they are for once not getting thier way. And learn to spell people!"

Oh, the irony...
