Probably thousands of kilometers and I don't care. The consulate of my country is good for nothing except issuing my stupid crappy third world passport every ten years.
Probably Taiwan. There is a service centre called "Österreich Büro Taipei", though, which acts as a de facto embassy/consulate.
Cool!
Everywhere, as we have no embassy anywhere, and even though China keeps claiming that we're their "unalienable and sacred part", Chinese embassies are not likely to answer if Taiwanese are in need.
We have representative offices in most countries though, but well, they're pretty much useless.
i was going to add Adelaide River NT Australia, for the 1300 km to the US embassy in Port Moresby, Papua new Guinea, but the embassy in Timor leste is under 900 km.
I'm Chinese; it is probably somewhere between Denver and Cheyenne, WY, about 1400 km away from consulates of China in Los Angeles, Calgary, Chicago, and Houston.
