Nobody mentioned the Azores. They are definitely on my bucket list.

Fernando de Noronha, outside Brazil continental shores. Special, free of garbage, only few people can go.

I know, it s isolated but at least the island is protected.

One BIG island that is special is Antarctica. I know is a frozen hell barren sodding piece of gigantic ice BUT it has so many marvelous things trapped under the ice.

I believe Atlantis lies beneath the ice cap. if I could go there when the ice is drilled and to see that cities where hidden and preserved..ahhh that would be the absolute glory!

Antarctica is a continent, not an island.

Any American territory is automatically excluded. The almighty dollar and greed pretty much destroy any beautiful islands or coastlines in the US. As someone mentioned on another forum, that at one time Bermuda was part of the VA Colony. If the US got its hands on Bermuda, it would be wrecked in five years. Just look at the coast of South Florida.

There is not any size limits for island?
In that case, small island is more handy and practical.
Name of the island is "Seitsemän puun saari" (Seven three island), location is in lake Saimaa, Finland.

Hahhah, that's a classic. But where do you go if you want to play football?

A couple more trees and the island will sink.
