I help Accounting and Finance Professionals in planning their career and also finding new job opportunities.

I noticed that you had questions about Big 4? Basically if you get into a Big 4 company and stick with it 2+ years, you are basically "golden" in the Accounting Profession. The salary in Big 4 is lower than what you would make in industry until you make Manager. But if you put in your time at Big 4 you can reap the rewards once you transition into industry - they pay more for candidate with Big 4 exp. ie: a Big 4 senior when transitioning into a position in industry will command a salary of $high 70's to $90's.

If you have any questions about the current hiring market or any other questions. Feel free to private message me.

I was an accounting major/IT minor; currently working on MS in Accounting. The opportunities with this combination are strong. I've interned in corporate accounting, internal audit, project management, and public accounting--obviously I'm young, but just wanted to show the different options I've found were available.
