I am sorry, not sure where to post this. I got an driver extract(history) for a PT job I am thinking about and there's a speeding ticket I can't recall for the life of me. This is not the sort of thing I forget as it's only happened 3X in my life. I live in NJ. Any idea how I could find out more information about this. What are the chances of them fudging a DL# and I got a ticket and didn't actually do it?
I would pursue this with a vengeance. The smaller issue is the ticket, the bigger issue is that there could be someone out there using your identity. Have you checked your credit rating lately? I'd start with your dept of motor vehicles.
Yes, abstract. Now I just checked the e-mail I sent to the prospective employer and I called it extract. So much for that job!
Here is what is odd. I compared my 3 year old ABSTRACT to the one from today and sure enough the violation is on there. Yet I don't remember looking at this violation back then and becoming worried like I am today.

I would follow up with DMV. Something's not right.
I could just be nuts. I'm going to see what I can find.
