How do you look for work? I found Freelance Jobs & Freelancers - iFreelance.com, but I want another site. I know it's hard to get clients but I only need it for a few months or so, so nothing big.

I already have my consulting business license and my friend is putting up my website right now.

But where do Financial Management types look for work online? (Financial Analysis, Modeling, Budgets, Business plans etc)

Try gorkana - media portal for PRs and journalists. I just found it a few days ago and it is quite useful.

I hope this helps!!

Here is a list of some freelance websites you can check out. Some are better than others, depending on what you are willing to do.

elance
odesk
getafreelancer
guru
sologig

There is also an interesting website called justanswer.com. Basically, people post questions about various things they need advice on and list how much they will pay for an answer. It could be anything from financial questions, legal, or even mechanical. I have a relative that is a mechanic, and he makes $800 bucks a month on the side from this website just answering questions on how to fix their cars! It's worth checking into...

Are you have trouble finding work in Seattle? And didn't I see that you were leaving soon?
