I find that most of our meetings are actually useful, and rarely go the entire time scheduled. What I don't like is the constant mandatory training, HR stuff, LEAN, Safety. We are in an office 2 days a week, yet I had to give my new employees MSDS training!

Most weeks luckily have no meetings. About every month there is about an hour of meetings. That's more than enough time to b.s. around and act impressed. The meetings are really for the satisfaction and ego-boosting of the so-called "managers". Maybe you can tell that I'm not impressed with my current company LOL.

This, this so much this!! I've been working in biotech labs since 2014, and at every company every single year I have to take refresher courses on bloodborne pathogens, handling freakin CO2 cylinders (i have never touched one), good documentation practices, blah blah blah. Every single year. I have several due within the next 2 months as well........putting it off til the last minute. That will be a WFH day. Lol.

Around 15-20 hours a week. Many of these meetings are with clients. Some are in person and some over WebEx or Zoom or audio conference calls.
