As I said before "you need to assess your chances of getting an offer". You too are approaching this as if it were only one interview and getting an offer was likely if you just show up. How many times are you going to tell them you need the day off for personal business?
Where in the world do you work that does not allow time off for appointments? Most any normal/sane workplaces allow short-term notice for appointments (i.e: PTO) and such. They also have sick days you can use. With the scenario you're painting, the OP would NEVER be able to EVER get another job because he literally could not take time away for any reason. LOL, that's not the real world, but I suspect you might be just here to play devil's advocate.

I can't believe something so logical has turned into 3 pages of back and forth about what to do.
