What bad decisions has your boss made that made you question their leadership and often we may ask "Are you happy here? but sometimes you can wonder if your boss needs to rethink things..one was my boss needed a new sales person and our city is not big but you need a car. We had a horrific last quarter so this person needed to do the same and extra to get us out of red. They did hire someone..someone who was arrested for DUI months earlier during that time and walked as they could not drive. Holy cow we were all shocked but felt let down by lack of leadership in a time where we all feared our jobs were in jeopardy ...bad bad decision..what bad decisions has your boss made?

Current ownership/management?

Where to start?

They have put themselves in the position to literally lose every single one of their employees who actually produces/completes work (i.e., non-executive overhead).

I don't want to say anything because there are always two sides for everything. When you say or tell somebody your boss did this, did that, you think is wrong, somebody may agree with you, and somebody else may oppose you. I just think or know that most of the times bosses do whatever they want to do, you just cannot tell them otherwise. They don't want to hear what they don't want to hear. They hire whoever they want to hire. No matter how bad or good, as you think that person is, s/he maybe is his or her relative or friend. There's nothing you can do. You just have to take it or leave it.

If you are young, quit and find job somewhere else that you think is better. If you are older, and you get pay well with benefits and everything, just keep quiet, do your job, tolerate until you retire and enjoy your life. You want to do good for the company, but nobody cares, and your acts are not appreciated, why bother? Whatever happens to the company, it is not your responsibility if your boss does not care about what you say. As long as you get pay, keep coming to work. Be numb and ignore all the BS.

When bad comes to worse, if you get layoff, then get UI. It’s not the end of the world. Just don't do anything to get fired. Everybody starts a career/job and ends it at some point. Everything shall pass. Take care of yourself.
