well... it wasn't really "illegal" to bid out the prices... he just shouldn't have tried to get illegal aliens. But that aside, he tossed out his "bid" and no one took it...

that is where the guy came from (craigslist). Then he got angry as the job was too hard, threw the wheelbarrow into the dirt and left. doesnt respond to my calls since. I guess I should have offered an office job instead.

Any young kids in the neighborhood who want to earn some extra spending money?

I wouldn't get an attitude about it. Consider how many people are overweight, have back problems, etc. Not everyone can shovel dirt for hours on end.

That's a tough job even for one man. At the end of the day he will have earned around $160 and a sore back at a rate of 20/hr. You can hire two guys to do it so the job won't be as tiring, but you probably only have one wheel barrow.
