Anyone know where you can find people who will work hard and be paid well to do lawn work? I don't mean running a mower or blowing leaves, I mean elbows and a$$holes.

I'm looking for 3-4 people willing to work hard to get my yard in shape.

Sure wish this was like AZ where on just about any street corner you can find people willing to work.

WHY WOULD YOU EVER WANT THAT HERE?!? Go on the Arizona thread and see how much they like hordes of illegals loitering near Home Depot and on the corner. I am so happy that doesn't exist here. Day laborers lower the quality of life! Better yet if you want them so bad, move south or east where they are.

Here's the point, NOBODY wants to work. I've had 8 different people in 8 years do leaf removal, they won't come back because it's too much like work. This country is lazy.

My grandmother used to be "you missed one over there" when I used to rake her leaves as a teen. It was hard work. She was old school and wanted perfection. This reminded me of those days.

What were you paying them? Nobody wants to do that kind of work for $8 an hour. Nobody legal anyway. If you want someone to work hard you're going to have to pay for it.

It depends how many hours. Call some friends and family; treat them to a lunch or something if they agree to do it one Saturday. Better than trying to find day laborers which thank god we don't have here.
