I start at 7:30 and am off work at 3:30. (unless something happens where I need to stay and help) About half the time I go to yoga more or less straight from work, which gets me home around 6pm. The other half, provided I don't go meet my wife for happy hour or have errands to go do, I'm home a little before 4pm.

That averages out to about 5pm, and I go to bed at maybe 10:15 on average... so a little over five hours might be a good estimate.

I get up very early (4am) so I go to bed by 9:30 Sunday-Thursday. I have always done my best to have an early start time at work, to maximize evening time. In the early morning everyone else at home was asleep or in the shower anyway so I may as well be at work.
I have the same tendency regarding wanting to get started early to get more out of the evenings, but I have been reading about some recent studies into sleep, specifically Dr Robert Stickgold's work, and he speaks pretty compellingly about the links between getting enough (and that's eight hours of quality sleep or so) sleep and all kinds of positives in terms of skill learning and general health. He's rather passionate about this not being a place we should skimp. Anyhow, I found it interesting.

I work night shift. I get home around 7:30am and go to bed around 2-3pm. Plenty of time to do stuff and get enough sleep. I forgo making the big bucks in order to have more time for myself and enjoy life. Never had a job that I loved enough to be "married" to it.

I usually get home around 4:30 p.m. and spend an hour with kids (homework) and pets. Then dinner and then chilling out. Some nights after dinner we'll take care of errands, chores or something fun. Every other month or so my husband and I go out and do something together - a movie, or dinner, or a play, or a concert, or a sporting event. Sometimes we'll take the kids to those things if it's appropriate.

My normal bedtime is around midnight, although I've been known to go to bed earlier (and later). Average would be midnight though.

Home at 5:45pm, then in bed around 9:30. I wake up at 5:15 so I have some time to myself in the morning.

leaving home at 1 pm, coming home at 2:30 am straight to bed just one day a week
leaving home at 11am coming home at 11 pm maybe 1 hour computer time than bed that 3 days in the week.
So I don't have no time after work but I have time before I go to work.
