*Crunch* *Crunch* *Crunch* *Crunch* *Crunch* *Crunch*

The worst is when they get down to the end, and they aren't just crunching once per bite. They are scouring the apple like a beaver for the spots that still have fruit on it, so it's like *crunchcrunchcrunchcrunchcrunchchompchompchompchom p* until they get a mouthful, then they actually start chewing.

Drives me freaking insane and I just have to get up and leave when it happens.

Yeah, I have to admit that sound drives me crazy too. The worst was when I had a coworker who liked to crunch ice. At least with the apple there's an end point, with the ice crunching she would do it all day.

We must have worked with the same person. I knew when it was 2oclock everyday by the cubicle apple chomper. Only mine was more torturous as they tried to stretch it out. More like ChoooooooommmmmpppppCurunch.

I work in a pretty diverse environment. Sometimes the Korean or Vietnamese food people bring for lunches reeks.
