In my experience, credit card companies treat you like king.

My experience with AMEX was mixed, BofA was not good.

I lost my wallet once and Discover was very nice about cancelling my card and getting me a replacement.

I imagine stopping lost or stolen cards is Priority One for them because they don't want to be on the hook for unauthorised purchases.

Maybe not with credit cards, but my husband and I only use debit cards, and while maybe not in the long run once it's taken care of, that does seriously affect us putting gas in our cars and food in our daughter's mouth and the money does get put back into our account but not necessarily immediately.

Wow, I just checked the MD Judiciary Case Search and found out that same guy I mentioned above, was also brought to court on the paternity of another child! So that makes 3 by 3 different women.

Some people are just curious. They look at the information and keep it to themselves without spreading it or making judgment calls.

Yea... I don't get why people use debit cards over charge cards.

The smartest criminals don't have court records, may never have one, will never be featured in a true crime books, which are surfeited with dumb criminals.

I'd be more worried about the smartest criminals in your midst! And remember, charm can be hypnotic!

I like how you are using it. I would protect my kids also. As far as the workplace, I don't have any problem with someone as long as they are getting their job done. Then again everyone here has to go through a background check. Those that have drug problems or theft problems won't get a job anyway.
