I talked to some students that went to Stout and they said it was a depressing little town. Anyone from there or go to Stout or went to Stout?

Good grief. How can anyone reply to that?

I live near Menomonie -- it's a small, college town with a gorgeous little park, a couple museums, and close proximity to the Red Cedar State Trail. It's also home to the Mabel Tainter theatre which has little productions occasionally.

It's 30 minutes or so from Eau Claire which has a lot more things to do such as shopping, restaurants, parks, and stuff. It's also only 1.5 hrs or so from the Twin Cities should you need to put up with traffic jams and parking problems.

If you get to know the area, it's pretty great. If you're expecting Minneapolis, you may be disappointed.

I graduated from Menomonie high school in 2000. The city itself is what you would expect from a small town.

let us know what you want to know and we can provide information.

I moved away from Menomonie in 2000. So I am sure things have changed, but not much.
