Hello everyone, I have absolutely feel in love with this website. I am interested in moving to Hudson, WI but need some help. I am moving from Kirkwood, MO which is about 20mins outside of St. Louis. I have a racially diverse family and Hudson looked as though it wasn't a far commute into the Minneapolis area. So tell me, do you think my family would fit in? How is the communite to MN area? What are the best resources to use to find a rental house? I value your thoughts. Thanks again!

I don't know Hudson very well but travel through on occasion. There are many people that commute to Minnesota from there. It also has a great little .... artsy/touristy area down by the river. Fun to walk around and see the shops or have a beer.

Bigger shopping area in Woodbury -- I love to shop there. It would be a super-easy drive from Hudson.

As far as racially diverse -- I can only guess that Hudson's proximity to the Cities would give it more diversity, but I don't know for sure.

I don't have much to add but to say "ditto" to Local's post. I grew up about 50 minutes away so I somewhat know the area, but not too well. Very easy drive into Mpls.

What I wanted to say, though, was to not be dissappointed if there aren't too many replies to your post. There aren't a lot of people in the forum that are from or know the western side of the state (especially around the Twin Cities area). You can always try the Minnesota forum if you are not getting any results here. The areas are so closely linked that it is possible someone there would have info. Good luck!
